I grew up in Hawaii Kai and graduated from Kaiser High School. I then attended UH Manoa for undergrad and graduated from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry. Growing up, I wanted to be a pilot, a veterinarian, a teacher, a lawyer, an Olympic gymnast or figure skater, an author, a movie star, just to name a few. Somehow I found my way to dentistry and couldn’t think of anything else I’d rather be doing. I love dentistry because of the great patients that I get to serve and my incredible team whom I consider my second family. Our philosophy is based on customer service and to treat our patients as we would like our own family to be treated.
In my spare time, I like to golf with my husband and play with our 2 four-legged kids, Pono, and Cookie.
I grew up in Pearl City and graduated from Pearl City High School. I then attended the University of Missouri - Kansas City and received my undergraduate degree there.
I then attained my dental degree at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry.
I also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program there.
When I completed the residency in 2008, I moved back home to Hawaii and have been practicing dentistry ever since.
My mom, who was a hygienist, encouraged me to pursue dentistry, so ever since I was 6 years old, I have said that I wanted to become a dentist. As I got older, I realized that I wanted to work with and help people and dentistry still seemed to be the best way for me to do that.
I love getting to know patients and their families, and building relationships with them over the years. I genuinely enjoy working with children as well. I am also passionate about educating patients about the importance of good oral health. I strive to give all patients a comfortable, positive experience at their dental appointments.
(By participating in many continuing education courses, I continually strive to provide the best, highest quality dental care that I can for my patients.)
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going to the beach, traveling, and playing tennis.

He enjoys watching football and his favorite team is the Pittsburg Steelers.
